HIM on this recording is: Doug Scharin (former drummer for Codeine, June of 44, Rex, Out in Worship...) ...moves forward from the global rhythms and 4-track experiments of earlier recordings into a more layered world of dub-jazz soundscapes. With help from Jeff Parker (Tortoise, Isotope...), Bundy Brown (Tortoise, Pullman, Directions in Music, Brokeback...).
Eugene`s Tree is melody, texture and space evoking beauty, risk and love flowing effortlessly between delays, loops, edits and natural live performance.
RUJAN: croatian "out rockers", known on domestic underground music scene as former or present members of Sibir, Uzrujan, Random, H'aia, Why Stakla, Debeli Precjednik... Rujan brings you "underground" rock, jazz, dub, analog electronica... combined together on strange and capturing ways...

John Symmes' Welt (cd)
After a couple of 7" and one 10", Jullander finally arrive to a full length.
Musically, “John Symmes’ Welt” consists of four equal, but distinct voices that complement each other and yet allow each other to be heard. You can sense that the people here have made an agreement and set off on a common path.
With two guitars, a bass and drums, Jochen Brandt, Arne Kittler, Andi Schoon and Jens-Rainer Berg conceive and mold their songs, with occasional support on saxophone by Philip Andernach.
Jullander play beautiful music that is perfectly aware of itself.
Their calmer pieces with strange melody lines can remind you sometimes on Dianogah or Couch, others, somewhat bulkyer brings to mind June of 44 or Paul Newman, but don't even think that this is enough to describe their sound.
Their sound is really their own - unique melodies, stylish singing, jazz skillfulness and pop qualities you shouldn't miss.

Imagine Labradford playing with Shellac... and you are only in Amsterdam (you know how far away Amsterdam is from Zagreb?). Peach Pit are building style of their own, highly energetic, disturbing, complex and atmospheric. Some journalists are comparing Peach Pit to Mogwai, June of 44, even early (demo-sessions) Pink Floyd? Food for ears!
And yes, they also say that this is record you should have in your collection. Special greenpaper silkscreened cardboard sleeve!!!!

One of the best 10 rock records ever released in Croatia if you believe croatian music critics... I certainly do. If you need some description of their sound it would sound like this: wierd blues of Cpt. Beefheart meets energetic and powerfull Mule, or J.S.B.Explosion if Al from U.S.Maple would pay gutar & fronted them. Blues the way white man should play it

Obssesed by '70 euro porno movies, armed w/guitars (no they are not metalheads) Very Expensive porno movie are playing their high charged, energetic, complex mixture of hardcore punk, noise and math rock. File them somewhere between Don Caballero & NoMeansNo.
You might see them soon acting and playing in some "X-rated" movies.
